Cheetos Anyone???

Well, it was just before bedtime when Joshua Stephen decided he wanted some Cheetos for a snack. Knowing that Mom and Dad would probably say "No" to this particular snack, he decided he would just help himself rather than ask for some help. His plan was working well until he heard Dad coming, and then panic set in and Cheetos went flying. A repentant Little Joshua Stephen enjoyed picking up his mess as he licked each Cheeto before returning it to the bag.

Baby Food

I can't believe my baby is growing up. My Little Caleb is getting so big and it seems like he is trying new things every day. Here are some pictures from his first experience with rice cereal and baby puffs. He was fasinated with the spoon and eager to help me with anything that went near his mouth. He is such a fun little guy!

Christmas with Paw-Paw and Kay-Kay

We had so much fun getting to spend Christmas with Paw-Paw Kenny and Kay-Kay. The boys (as well as us) got spoiled with lots of presents. Here are just a few of our favorite Christmas pics.

Introducing our Nanny

We were so excited to introduce Nanny to her eleventh great grandchild, Sweet Little Caleb Drue.

Caleb was so excited to meet his Sweet Nanny. Caleb got his middle name Drue from Nanny's great grandfather, William Drue Scull. William Drue fought in the Texas Revolutionary War. (Don't you know Dawson just loves that since he is a Texas history buff.)
The boys just love their Nanny!
Here they are laughing and being silly.

Uncle Coby

I must say that I am very impressed with my Big brother. He has turned out to be a wonderful uncle for my two little men. While we were home at Christmas I was very impressed with how he got down on their level and played with them and how he went out of his way to engage them. Joshua Stephen loved reading his animal book with Uncle Coby, and Caleb had fun laughing and smiling at his silly Uncle Coby. We are so blessed to have such a fun uncle!!!!

Remembering my roots

Dawson has a done a great job of recording our family history by making an extensive family tree. While we were home for Christmas, we decided to go visit the grave sites of some of my Mom's side of the family so that we could record some important details of their lives. Here we are at the head stones of my great uncle and great grandmother.

The Dinosaur Museum

It seems like every other day Joshua Stephen will tell me "I want to go to the Dinosaur Museum with Poppa Larry". Never mind that Poppa Larry lives more than twenty hours away, he just knows that he loves to spend time with his Poppa Larry and getting to see the dinosaurs is a fun bonus. Here are some fun pictures from our last trip to the dinosuar museum when we visited Albuquerque at Christmas.
