Easter Camo

We found that the best way to HUNT for Easter eggs is wearing camouflage.
As you can see, Joshua Stephen and Caleb blend into their surroundings as they hunt for Easter eggs.
Daddy couldn't be prouder of his little camo boys.
And Mommy thinks their pretty cute!

Joshua Stephen- Easter 2006

I just love to look back on my boy's first special occasion (like Christmas, Easter, birthdays). It's so fun to see how they are each so unique and yet so alike. One thing's for sure they are both Super precious!!!

He had so much fun with all of the bright colored eggs.

The Easter Bunny

This year the Easter Bunny sent Paw-Paw Kenny and Kay-Kay all the way to Saint Louis to deliver special Easter baskets to our boys.
The boys were so excited about all of the sweet treats they found in their Easter baskets.
Caleb loved all of the colored eggs, and he was amazed that the eggs opened up and had even more fun stuff inside.
The Easter Bunny's Favorite helper- our very own Kay-Kay (with her cutie).

Our Boy's Baptisms

It has been such a special blessing to have Dawson's parents join us for the baptism of both of our boys.

We were also blessed to have Dawson's grandfather join us for Joshua Stephen's baptism.
What special days and precious memories!

Caleb's Baptism

We are so excited Caleb was baptized on March 16 . It was such a special day for us! Baptism means so much to us because we believe that God's promises to us as believers extend to our children.
Acts 2: 38- 39
"Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself."
Praise God for His promises to us and our children! We continually hope that our boys would never remember a day that they didn't know and love Jesus as their Savior.
We started a new family tradition with Joshua Stephen- we hope to have each of our children baptized in the same baptism gown. We think the gown will become a precious family keepsake, and hopefully a special reminder to us of God's faithfulness to us and our children for generations to come.
One happy little Caleb Drue!

We have been waiting to have Caleb baptized until we found a church home here in Saint Louis. And after many months of visiting other great churches we finally decided to become members of Providence Presbyterian Church. We just love our new church family and we are continually encouraged by the teaching and fellowship we find there. One fun thing about our church is that children (of all ages) get to attend the worship service.

If you know anything about our rambunctious little two year old Joshua Stephen, then you know that sitting quietly for over an hour is not an easy task. But having the boys with us during the worship service has been something that we have all enjoyed. It is so neat to have the opportunity each week to explain to our boys how Jesus died for our sins as we share the Lord's supper together. I am always so encouraged by Joshua Stephen's questions and it is so precious to hear him reciting the Lord's prayer as we say it all together as a church family each week. I am continually blessed by his child like faith. Now mind you, the worship service is filled with more distractions with two little ones sitting by your side, but it is such a blessing to get to worship together as a family.
