Krispy Kreme

Joshua Stephen and MiMi have a Krispy Kreme connection. During their "snuggle buggle" time MiMi promised Joshua Stephen that she would take him to Krispy Kreme. So what was the first thing Joshua Stephen said when we picked him up from school- "Let's go to Krispy Kreme".
Trying to decide which delicious donuts to devour.
Enjoying some donuts with MiMi.
So yummy!!!

MiMi with her Caleb

MiMi just couldn't wait to love on her Caleb.
He was excited to show her all of his favorite toys.
But he also made some time to sweet talk her.
MiMi likes giving Sugars (kisses).

Caleb loves tickles from his MiMi.
Lots of love and hugs!

MiMi arrives

Well, it's official our MiMi is here. We are so excited!!! MiMi just got in today and the boys are having so much fun with her.
MiMi brought us lots of fun treats- like Star Wars figures for Joshua Stephen, a big stuffed bear for Caleb, and red chile and fresh tortillas for me (yummy).
Joshua Stephen just couldn't wait to read to his MiMi.
MiMi is a very attentive listener.
What a cute pair!

Fall has arrived

Well, it's official Fall has arrived here in St. Louis. The temperature has dropped and we are enjoying some beautiful days filled with refreshing cool, crisp air. I have been waiting all summer for this season to arrive so that I could dress my boys in these fun little Fall colored smocked rompers that I purchased last Spring. Yeah- I am so glad Fall is here (and I'm glad I picked the right size rompers)!
Look how big my Caleb is getting.
Don't you just love Joshua Stephen's serious face?
(Dad thinks he may be wearing that expression because he's upset he's wearing smocked clothes, but I heard no complaints from my Little Man. Plus, if you look closely you'll notice the smocking features a set of tools- what could be more manly?)
Two happy boys!
Caleb is so silly!

Running home for lunch.
Could they be any cuter?

Driving at 15 months

Who needs to wait til' they're 15 years old to start driving? In the Bean family we start our exploration of moving vehicles at 15 months. (Click the above video to see.)
We had a cookout at some fun friend's house over the weekend and the boys had so much fun playing on this motorized John Deere tractor. I must say that it scared me to death when Caleb got on it, but we just couldn't keep our Little Man off of it. He got so excited every time he made it move. He couldn't quite figured out how it worked, but thankfully Big Brother was there to step in and show him how to operate this piece of heavy equipment. Needless to say, the boys have figured out what they want for Christmas- a motorized John Deere tractor.
